Well, once again the Liberal press, aka the Democrat public relations and propaganda arm, is absolutely having the vapors over Donald Trump’s latest political pronouncement regarding certain countries and their economic (and perhaps moral) state in the world. After this latest kerfuffle, in which the accusations are flying around faster than 2 x 4’s in a Category 5 tornado, our President would be wise to take his own advice and in the future record everything that comes from his lips in private meetings. That way he can’t have the backstabbers in the Republican Party help his Democrat enemies.

For the record, any negative statement made about any country which is either run by or populated by people of a different skin shade than white will automatically be pounced upon by Leftists as being “racist.”  While I do not deny that racists exist in our country – and in the rest of the world for that matter – the playing of the Race Card by Leftists in this country is becoming and old and rather stale agenda. In other words, when you have an agenda – use the Race Card. When you hate someone – use the Race Card to smear him. When you want your way and want to use people’s guilt to bully them into doing what you want – use that Race Card!  It is a great all-purpose tool to get what you want when you don’t have anything resembling a substantive argument by which to defend your position.

The sad part about playing the Race Card so often is that it anesthetizes good people against the very real problems of racism that actually still exist in our country. It’s like the little boy who cried “wolf” – there comes a time when people don’t pay attention anymore to the things that truly need to be dealt with.

Now, as to The Donald’s rather unfortunate statement, may I ask a very simple question to all those who have their knickers in a knot today:

Do you not comprehend the difference between making an accurate description of a country as being a “s**thole” when it is, to all appearances to men of lucid thought, a place where a dog wouldn’t want to live, and insulting people by calling them racist names such as “nigger,” “spic,” “kike,” “wop,” dago,” “raghead,” etc???

How is it that the Liberal press, who are having just screaming hissy-fits today don’t get this?

I mean, this is really simple. President Trump was describing in glaring exactitude the condition of many of the countries from where we are receiving a large stream of refugees. And they are refugees precisely because the hell-holes in which they live are unfit for human habitation due to Muslim extremists, violent crime, rampant and never-ending government corruption, disease and filth, all caused by political thugs who stole the treasury blind and left the country, such as when Baby Doc fled Haiti with around $8 million in cash, gold, and everything else on which he could lay his thieving hands.

Look at the picture I posted at the top of the page? What single word would you,  dear reader, use to describe this place?  Dirty?  Nasty? Filthy? How about  s**thole? I think any of these words is a pretty accurate description of a place that is in desperate need of change into a decent and livable community. But do the words I used mean that they describe the woman in the picture? Not at all! They have nothing to do with her. I would bet in fact, given that this is an accurate picture of the Haiti I saw with my own eyes some forty years ago, that the woman is a very friendly and warm individual.

That is what I encountered when I went to Haiti – warm, friendly people who bore no malice towards me as I visited Port-Au-Prince. Trapped in grinding poverty, they made the best of what they had. From the missionary compound where we were staying I could watch a family of eight who lived just outside the walls. Every morning the mother of the family brought out a large pan and fried bananas.  Every morning the same thing. When I got up the courage to go over and talk with her – having just completed three years of high school French, the official language of the island – I found her friendly and delightful to converse with as she tolerated my attempts at French and answered my many questions.

Her house had two rooms, no bathroom, and eight souls lived in it. It looked like pile of cinder blocks slathered over with clay. I would describe that as a hellhole of a house. Does this mean I am insulting her?

Liberals don’t want to understand this because to them, any criticism that falls in the general area where people of color live is automatically racist. Criticize Baltimore and you are a racist because the city is predominately black. Criticize a sports team which is 95% black, speaking about their bad play, and guess what – you are a racist.  Don’t dare criticize anyone in Hollywood like Oprah. If I say that her religious ideas are flaky – sheeesh, I’m a racist.  Can you see how out of hand this is getting?

One last thing to all those Liberals who are running their mouths about The Donald’s statement –

S**tholes exist in the world. Places that are in desperate need of help. Instead of going on and on about what a rotten person Donald Trump is, why don’t you do something to help the people in those countries? If you were to take the personal wealth of all Liberal Hollywood elites, add to that the wealth of all congressional Liberals, and then toss in the top 50 wealthy Liberals in our country, you would have a staggering amount of money which could be put to use in things like cleaning up Haiti and making it livable.

Talk is cheap and criticizing someone is easy. I challenge you to spend some of your money and change the world. Go to some Third World country, roll up your sleeves, and get your hands good and dirty building a school or hospital.
