When NFL players began to kneel during the National Anthem, seeking to bring the American consciousness into contact with the concerns of black Americans regarding police brutality in certain situations, I was sympathetic to their issue. I caught a lot of flack from some of my fellow Christians for that blog piece, but I apologize not. Now I am no longer supportive, at least not to the NFL and its players. The NFL is now pulling out all stops to support Black Lives Matter. The irony of this organization’s name flies right over the heads of the brainless morons who are running the NFL into the ground. What matters to BLM is not black lives, it is money. Lots and lots of money. Over a billion dollars and counting has been contributed to the organization by corporations such as Bank of America, who are apparently either ignorant of the fact that this is a Communist organization, or too stupid to know that Communism has a history of elimination of the rich and educated once they take power. Perhaps the CEO’s of Bank America and other major companies that have donated millions to BLM are convinced that donating to the organization will buy them protection and an honored place at the Communist table after the Revolution succeeds.
Nikolia Yezhov, the little man to the left of Stalin, would beg to disagree. Once the head of the Soviet secret police, in February 1940, Yezhov himself became a victim of the terror when he was executed in a Moscow basement. Stalin went on to later have executed 3,500 of his own generals, a move that almost cost him the war with Germany when attacked by Hitler. It is an act of profound stupidity for any American corporation to support or do business with those who have no morals. This and this is what is coming for these fools unless they wake up.
What has BLM done with this money?
Relief for black families affected by the recent hurricanes in the Gulf Coast? Nope. Building projects to go into the slums of the major cities and create decent living for black families? Nope. Perhaps setting up charter schools where a good and decent education could be had by black children instead of the brainwashed, sexually-saturated puke they are fed on a daily basis? Nope. Health clinics in black slums to help black women keep their babies rather than kill them? Nope. I have not seen one single project done in the name of Black Lives Matter which is positive in nature and has enhanced the lives of black people. Not one. If you know of one, please let me know.
What I do know is this:
In a revealing 2015 interview, BLM leader Patrisse Cullors said, “Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists.” That same year, another leader, Opal Tometi, was hobnobbing with Venezuela’s Marxist dictator Nicolás Maduro, of whose regime she wrote: “In these last 17 years, we have witnessed the Bolivarian Revolution champion participatory democracy and construct a fair, transparent election system recognized as among the best in the world.”
Millions of Venezuelans suffering under Maduro’s murderous misrule presumably couldn’t be reached for comment.
This is a Marxist, Communist organization and their goals, despite what they say on their website, are to destroy the nuclear family, close the churches (as they did in Russia and are doing in China) and put Christians who make trouble about it in jail. That’s if you are lucky. Communists have a nasty habit of just shooting Christians and being done with it.
Yes, America has problems, and some of them are serious and have been long-standing. But Communism is not the cure for these things. Destruction of our country is not the answer. To endorse and support an organization which stands for the destruction of our country is foolishness. So my answer to this, as feeble as it is, was to join in on a called boycott of the NFL. This is no small matter to me as a good football game on a Sunday afternoon is – or was – a most pleasant and relaxing diversion from the rigors of the past week. Two weeks have gone by and I have not enjoyed this repast. I have no idea who played who, who is in first place, etc. I have watched some good college football, but I warn you, one hint of support of BLM from the college football hierarchy and *POOF* — GONE!
Yes, we will boycott the NFL and make them rethink their decision! Well, actually, it doesn’t seem to be making all that much difference.
Millions of people tune in on any Sunday, Thursday or Monday during NFL season to watch a game. In 2014, about 205 million viewers watched part or all of an NFL game.
According to a recent internal memo from the NFL, the numbers have dropped. The memo addressed the league’s concern about declining viewership, stating that as of Week 4, ratings were down by 11 percent.
Other outlets state that the decline may be as high as 30%. You know what aggravates me about this?
IT SHOULD BE 100%!!!
The people of this country should be outraged at any organization which supports the destruction of our country. This is why Communism is going to win in America – because people do not care. Do not bother them to get off their couch and do a little research into what BLM stands for. Do not insist that they actually think about the consequences of their choices. If there is one thing that stands out like a sore thumb, it is the inability of the majority of American people to think. The so-called “pandemic” (a SCAM if I ever saw one!) proves this. By now we have been treated to such a monumental plethora of lies regarding this virus that any reasonable person would rip off the mask he has been terrified into wearing and say, “Screw you, I ain’t doing this no more you liars!” But the scam just keeps on going because people are listening to the lies on NBC, CBS, and CNN about how deadly the virus is and how everyone is gonna die unless you wear a mask. It is all emotionalism. This is how the powers that be have learned they can lead the American people around like sheep – tug at their emotions.
In the same emotional manner we are told that Black Lives Matter is a wonderful organization, and told in such a way that infers that if you do not believe in this organization and their catchy slogan, well, you are a heartless clod of the worst sort. If you do not agree, emotion-laden words like “bigot” and “evil” are thrown at you.
So — boycott the NFL? Apparently not as I hear even conservative talk show hosts talking about the games and what they saw on TV. Everyone smiles and acts as if life is going on as it always has. Meanwhile, BLM members burn down cities on the West Coast, terrorize diners in restaurants in DC, and plot to overthrow the country and install their Communist dream. Every day I wake up now is like being in some Kafkaesque nightmare from which I cannot extricate myself. The country I knew as a child is gone. Yes, imperfect in a number of ways, but still the best country in the world to grow up in as a child in the 1950’s. Millions of people have seen this, and many have risked life and limb to get here from Communist hell-holes like Cuba, Russia, and China. The sons and daughters of these people are speaking out, trying desperately to warn us that we are in danger of turning this country in to the very living hell that their parents fled.
And few are listening. The majority of people are transfixed with their 72″ plasma TV’s, their BMW’s and Corvettes, their happy bank accounts and 401Ks, and especially their sports teams. Don’t ask them to sacrifice one little thing as they pursue The Good Life. When the Southern Baptist Convention and the American Family Association declared a boycott of Disney, Christian families ignored the boycott and kept right on going to Disney World, despite Disney’s penchant for celebrating sodomy. People do not want to be bothered with sacrificing anything, even in the Christian faith, which calls us to self-denial. The storm is coming, but they don’t care. Life is good, why rock the boat?
So I find myself wondering why I am even bothering? Apparently millions of other people do not care. Football is more important to them than sending a message to the NFL that we will not tolerate them supporting an organization which has as its stated goal the destruction of America. And in the end, it will be seen that it was this same lack of concern that got us here in the first place. American people for the most part are self-centered and uncaring about the many injustices going on in this country. While I do not support BLM, when a black man is choked to death over a pack of cigarettes, there should be national outrage. There was silence. Politicians break the law, lie openly, and keep their jobs. The should be national outrage. The poor and hungry are ignored. There should be national outrage. We build weapons of war instead of diplomats of peace, and then use them on innocent people halfway around the world, based on George Bush’s hideous lies. There should be outrage. Such lack of concern for others and for justice has to have blow back. When injustice reigns, violence and tyranny are not far around the corner.
Russian dictator Nikita Khrushchev made the wry observation about the American Capitalist mentality: “Communism will dance on the grave of the capitalist and we will sell you the rope you use to hang yourself.” Our inability to sacrifice the least of the comforts which we demand and to which we feel entitled shows he was correct.
