David Bentley Hart is perhaps the premier Christian philosopher extant today. He has a profound and wide knowledge on many subjects, and speaks with tremendous erudition on them. He is, however, not infallible, as one of his recent posts, and his corresponding insults sent to me, have shown. Having admired and held Dr. Hart in great esteem for a long time, especially in reading his manuscripts, blog pieces, and general knowledge, I was dismayed to find that he is an avid supporter of vaccination and holds in deep contempt those who are now questioning the efficacy and safety of the current crop of vaccinations on the market. In short, while Dr. Hart forcefully avers that he has deeply studied the issue, the facts appear to speak otherwise, and insulting as “hacks” and “charlatans” those doctors who are warning against vaccines is not a cogent response to my concerns, nor is it a quality defense for a man who is normally employs great verbosity in defending his theological positions.
More to the point, I posted on SubStack a quote from an emergency room nurse who is on the front lines of the health care battle. In posting her testimony of what she had seen and experienced, I wondered aloud, having read a thrumbling diatribe against RFK, Jr. by Dr. Hart, what he would say about the post. He dismissed her, with a certain vociferous air of disdain, and then
proceeded to call me a “moron,” 1 among other things. When I objected to this treatment, stating that Matthew 5 and the Sermon on the Mount nowhere prescribes insulting those with whom you disagree, especially fellow Christians, he rose to his defense by telling me that those who are objecting to vaccines are killing millions, therefore, such name-calling is well within his right as we are indeed morons!
I suppose I should just let this dead horse lie, but given my rather contrarian attitude in certain endeavors, I find that I am obliged to mount my own defense. Not that it will have any effect on Dr. Hart, as it appears that his pride in his profound intellect will not allow him to back down, no matter how many facts are published to the contrary of his beliefs. I have to wonder if his priest or bishop would validate his verbal treatment of those with him he disagrees. When I first read his book, THAT ALL SHALL BE SAVED, I found his barbed ripostes to be rather refreshing, given that at that time I felt the same kind of anger against those who have so maligned God and the Gospel as to support something that is morally objectionable.2 Having now received some of that opprobrium, I admit that I do feel a bit different about his penchant for insult, such as in thinking, “Did I really deserve THAT?”
I would further tender my objection that he produced no factual evidence to support his claims regarding the safety and efficacy of vaccines. We deniers, on the other hand, just keep piling up statistics (and dead bodies). While still am an admirer of his overall theological work, I am embarrassed for him, both for his churlish behavior, and his lack of proper investigation into this issue. Therefore, so that I don’t fall prey to the same error that he has made, i.e., ideas without supporting facts, the rest of this blog, and others to follow regarding this issue, will be posts by reputable organizations, such as the following information from Denmark:
Not long ago… RFK JR talked about Bill Gates and The DTP Vaccine causing the Mass Genoocide of African Girls. “The most popular vaccine in the world is the the DTP vaccine. We got rid of it in this country because it was causing severe brain injuries or death, 1 in every 300 children . . . we used it in the 80’s and that’s why there was all this litigation against vaccine companies that precipitated the passage of the Vaccine Act, that then gave them immunity from liability . . . In Europe they don’t use it, in America they don’t use it, but they give it to 161 million African children every year.” Bill Gates asked the Danish government to support that program and said it saved 30 million lives. The Danish government said, Show us the Data. Bill Gates wasn’t able to. The Danish Government went to Africa and did their own studies and they looked at 30 years of DTP data and what they found shocked them all. They found that African girls who got the DTP were dying at 10x the rate of unvaccinated girls. They were dying of things that nobody had ever associated with the DTP vaccine. They were dying of anemia, malaria, bilharzia, pulmonary disease, respiratory disease, and pneumonia. Nobody noticed for 30 years that it was the vaccinated girls and not the unvaccinated girls that were dying. What happened was these girls were not dying of Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis . . . the vaccine protected them against those, but it RUINED their immune systems. They were unable to defend themselves against minor diseases that other children with hearty immune systems were able to fend off . . . ” 3
Maybe the Danish government types are, like the aforementioned emergency room nurse, quacks and stupid? Maybe they tweaked the figures? Who knows? I’m sure that with a certain amount of intellectual energy applied to this study in the same manner as he applies it to theology, Dr. Hart could disavow it and prove it false. I would await his response to this, with facts and figures to prove that the Danish government is in error. Nonetheless, let us move on to another proof of the dangers of vaccines:

Others They filed this suit against the U.S. Department of HHS and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. regarding changes in federal vaccine policy. The lawsuit argues that the vaccine modifications will:
Burden physicians by requiring more individualized time and conversations with parents
Force clinicians to weigh patient risks vs benefits for each decision regarding vaccines
Disrupt routine workflow Read that again. Doctors are suing because they:
Don’t want to take the time to talk with you about health decisions
Don’t want to take the time to make sure the risk vs benefit of the medication they want to inject makes sense for your specific child
Want you to be in and out of their clinic quickly
Want to do the same thing for every child regardless of your personal situation They want to rush you through but claim it’s so they can “help more people.” But we know the real reason. The more people they see, the more money they make.
Now I’m sure that at this point in time, if Dr. Hart is reading this, his hair is standing up, on fire, and he is screaming at his monitor, demanding to know how I, a mere simpleton, dare suggest that doctors are motivated by money. Or perhaps you, dear reader, are doing the same. Nonetheless, if you think that money is not a large part of the equation in health care, you haven’t been paying close attention. 4
The Biden administration and health insurers incentivized doctors and health care providers with bonus payments and reimbursements – much of it taxpayer dollars – to vaccinate large percentages of their Medicaid patients with the COVID-19 shots. The federal government also used taxpayer dollars to reimburse providers for administering the shot to the uninsured at twice and, in some cases, nearly three times the usual dollar amount than it normally does for traditional vaccines.
Documents reveal that the federal health insurance program Medicare, California’s Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and the health insurance provider Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid in Kentucky incentivized health care providers with direct financial gain to promote and administer the COVID-19 shot, particularly to Medicaid beneficiaries in lower income and minority communities. Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that helps people with limited income to cover medical costs.
According to California’s DHCS, $350 million in incentive payments was devoted to injecting the state’s 14 million Medicaid beneficiaries with the COVID shot from September 2021 to February 2022. Out of the $350 million, half came from federal taxpayer dollars and the other half came from California state taxpayers, the DHCS stated in a press release. Specifically, $200 million went to paying out financial rewards to health care providers who met certain performance marks raising the percentage of patients who had received the COVID-19 injection. To get paid under California’s incentive payment structure, which weighted young people 12 to 25, people ages 50 to 64 with chronic conditions, and minorities higher than other demographics, doctors needed to boost the vaccination rates of these specific groups by upwards of 75 percent to achieve the biggest payouts. The pay structure was unclear as to how much money doctors would actually receive.
As for Medicare, a program for people 65 years or older, the Biden administration is reimbursing health care providers significantly more to administer COVID-19 injections than it does for established vaccines. Notably, the government spent $2 billion when it bought 600 million COVID shots — enough to inject most of the U.S. population. Then it also funded the “American Rescue Plan Act” (ARPA) making the shot free for all Americans regardless of their health insurance status. Under the ARPA and the provider relief fund established by Congress, more emphasis and money has been put on the COVID shot than any other shot despite all the dangers.
For instance, before March 15, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reimbursed providers $28.93 for a single-dose vaccine, and $16.94 for the first dose in a series of two. On March 15, 2021, those rates increased specifically for the COVID-19 shots to $40 per dose, and for “in-home” administered doses the rate went as high as $75.50 on August 12, 2021, according to the Health Resources and Services Administration website.
In Kentucky, health insurance provider Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid used the same strategy to reach low-income and minority communities. According to the provider’s bulletin, Anthem told doctors they would “recognize your hard work by offering incentives for helping patients make the choice to become vaccinated.” The payments were incremental and included an initial and final payment based on injection dates. For patients injected before September 1, 2021, payments for doctors ranged from a $20 bonus per vaccinated person who injected 30 percent of their patients, to $125 per vaccinated person for those who vaccinated 75 percent of their patients. A final incentive payment was paid to doctors for newly injecting people after September 1, 2021, at $100 per person who injected 30 percent of their patients, to $250 per vaccinated person for those who vaccinated 75 percent of their patients. Since then, Anthem has changed the rate to a flat $50 per newly injected patient.
Anthem’s Incentive program also included guidance to health care providers in how to “soft start” conversations to convince hesitant patients to take the shot. The guidance cautioned doctors not to question a hesitant patient’s information sources, and implied those sources were not of “high quality” and that sources critical of the COVID-19 shot were “misinformation.” Rather, the guidance told doctors to downplay side effects, to advise patients the shot “prevents infection” and that it “is proven safe for all.”
Dr. Peter McCullough, an internist, epidemiologist, and one of the most published cardiologists in America, with over 1,000 publications and 660 citations in the National Library of Medicine haspubliclystated the COVID-19 mRNA injection is toxic, dangerous, and the cause of sudden cardiac death in many. In fact, when Dr. McCullough began speaking out in 2021, he called the mRNA injections of spike protein among the most toxic substance ever injected into a human being.
He stated, “There now are 200 papers showing that myocarditis (from the COVID vaccine spike protein) causes heart damage…If a healthy person suddenly dies, and there’s no antecedent disease, it’s the vaccine until proven otherwise.”
Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat quote said, “Medical professionals are obligated to ‘do no harm,’ a key ethical rule in modern medicine. It is concerning to see doctors being financially compensated based on the vaccination rates of their patients. The COVID fiasco has caused many people to lose faith in hospitals and doctors. It will be a long time before that trust is restored, if indeed is even possible at this point. People have been injured and died as a result of the most expensive shot in history, and it was paid for with our taxpayer dollars. The entire medical system is in desperate need of reform.”6
Indeed. I find myself becoming more and more cynical as each day goes by. The constant lies we see in the political arena, from both sides of the aisle, the products being sold online that turn out to be not what they were touted, the constant array of scammers and cheats worming their way into my email box, the referees and umpires being fired after making egregiously wrong calls that have to do with gambling – all this and more has caused me to lose faith in humanity in general. The Sacred Scriptures tell us that the love of money is the root of all evil, and our world continues to prove the truth of this verse.
One of the more common methods of defending one’s agenda is art of slander. Muslims slander Christians by insisting that the Bible has been corrupted over the centuries. It is an effective way of reducing the authority of the Sacred Scriptures. In like manner, Dr. Hart issues consistent slander against all who dare to question the current crop of “vaccines” (they are nothing more that poison in a needle – not at all like the vaccines I received as a child). He is not above questioning the veracity and professional capabilities of doctors who are leading the charge against vaccination, calling men like Dr. Peter McCullough, “quacks.”
Here is a four hour YouTube presentation on the devastating effects of the Covid 19 “vaccine.” I have no doubt that Dr. Hart will scorn this as “demagoguery” and “theater,” since he does not have the medical knowledge to speak on the same level as these men, and therefore must resort to polemics rather than listening to what they have to say. I find it odd that a man who does not hold license as a medical doctor can take issue with men who have been trained in that profession. It is arrogantly like those who scorn Dr. Illaria Ramelli for her work on the Greek of the New Testament when they themselves don’t even know Greek. Like all people, the only “experts” Dr. Hart appears to listen to are those who will support his presuppositions. We all do it, and rare is the man who can approach a subject with an open mind and willingness to admit that he has made a wrong turn in his thinking. There are two classes of people in this debate: those who are on the side of the government and those who are not. Why was our government so hell-bent on pushing the Covid 19 vaccine and the lies about the transmission of the virus?
No, Dr. Hart, I believe you are clearly in the wrong on this one, both in how you responded to me in disagreement and in your willingness to toe the company line being put out by our government, rather than seeing what so many of us have come to see. You have a choice, and you have made a wrong one in refusing to look at the many facts that are sticking out like a sore thumb. I may be a moron, and admittedly am absolutely in no way the intellect you are, but I can read and think, and when the facts consistently point to something being dreadfully wrong, 7 when proper protocols for testing and release were not followed, when hundreds of young healthy athletes who were vaccinated are dropping dead on sports fields from heart attacks, when story after story crops up in media about loved ones who were vaccinated and experienced dreadful results and death, well, sir, I can draw conclusions. And the conclusions that I am drawing is that someone is lying, and dead bodies and facts don’t lie.
Here is the fact of the matter. We choose whom we want to believe when an issue like this comes up. Dr. Hart has chosen to believe a certain cadre of physicians, molecular scientists, and other “experts” who support what he wishes to believe. What he appears to not have done is to investigate their offshore bank accounts to see how much money is going into their pockets to promote vaccination. He appears also to be turning a blind eye to the incestuous relationship between the FDA and Big Pharma, which again, involves huge sums of money. Where there is money to be made, truth is the first casualty, such as in the many lies which have been foisted on the massa damnata to get us riled up and start profitable wars for those making war toys. While there are no doubt some within the industry who create medicines for the benefit of mankind, if Dr. Hart thinks that the pharmaceutical industry as a whole has the best interests of mankind at heart, he is naive beyond my wildest expectations of him as a brilliant and intelligent man. As with all mankind, there are both good and bad, and unfortunately, the bad seem to be pre-eminent in the industry at this time.
If RFK, Jr. and those who are warning against vaccination are so dreadful, you owe the nation the service of setting the record straight. I therefore suggest that you set up a series of debates between your “experts” and those who have openly challenged vaccination. Let’s get the facts out in the open for all to hear and see. And don’t bring pejoratives, name-calling, and the like. I want to see, and the populace deserves, charts, graphs, scientific research papers, and a host of other proofs.
This is the way that adults settle an issue, not by name calling and personal attack!

The idea of God creating an eternal hell of fiery torment. The idea that God, who knows all things from the beginning, would foreknow the fall of man, and seeing that this fall would doom billions to an eternity of unrelenting misery, would go ahead and create mankind anyway, is reprehensible. Bill Gates is not exactly welcome in some African countries, such as Kenya, which has revoked his diplomatic immunity. I personally can’t help but think that Mr. Gates is a closet racist who views the black race in the same way that the New World Order elites do, that is, as “useless eaters.” He was caught on video a number of years ago openly stating that population decrease could be achieved by ten to fifteen percent by the use of vaccines. But I am sure that Dr. Hart will leap to his defense and claim he was misrepresented and that statement is a slanderous misrepresentation. ↩︎
A personal story. My Aunt Dorothy told me many years ago that when her mother was in the hospital, a doctor came in, put his foot on the bedrail of grandma’s bed, looked at the chart for a second, then disappeared. Aunt Dot got a bill for $500 from this doctor. When she asked my grandmother about it, my grandmother told that she had never seen the man before. My aunt called the hospital and raise holy hell with them. My point is that if you wave enough money in front of 95% of the people in the world, you can get them to do just about anything.
