A Fine Rant on a Fine Sunday Morning

Everywhere I go now people are wearing masks. Masks everywhere. I was in WalMart the other day and I didn’t see a single person who was not hiding his nasal orifices with a piece of brightly colored cloth. Do people not read? Do they not observe the public venue? Apparently our educational system has managed to so dumb down people that they can’t think or reason. They can’t put all the evidence in place and come to the realization that this has been a gigantic scam. They don’t seem to be observing the social milieu that shows us this is all about the Democrat Party destroying our country and destroying President Trump. They don’t care. Like all good Communists everywhere, the Democrat Party would destroy the entire country just to get one of their enemies and establish their version of paradise.

The reports keep trickling in. The lies that were told about hydroxychloroquine. It is a cure, with an impressive success rate against Covid 19. The lies were told about transmitting the disease. We were given death rate projections in the millions, inferring that it could kill everybody on the planet if we didn’t stay inside. This made everyone scared spitless to set one foot outside their door for fear of being dead in the next 24 hours. I wake up every morning trying not to be outraged at this complete utterly fraudulent lie. I work on not hating the politicians and the other people who have sold this lie to us because I’m a Christian and I don’t have the luxury of hating anybody. I’m trying very hard to respect the bishops in the hierarchy of the Church, but it is very hard to respect them anymore when they caved in and denied us the Sacraments. It is hard to respect them especially now that it’s become crystal clear that this was an attack on the Church by wicked politicians who hate God, and they, as church leaders, are not willing to stand up and say, “We are opening the church and you ain’t got enough jails to put us all in.” I can’t believe they could watch the governors open up WalMart and Lowe’s to masses of people, yet insist that only ten people at a time could be at a church service, and still think this is about a disease instead of outright God-hatred. Make no mistake about it, these Democrats, if you remember, booed God at the 2012 DNC. They haven’t changed.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, the bishops priests and laity in the Middle East, who have a good chance of being blown up by demon-possessed Muslim fanatics every time they open their doors for Divine Liturgy, must be shaking their heads at these actions. How easy it was to get the churches to close and deny the life-giving Sacraments to their members! How many people have died without the Last Rites of the Church because of a completely unfounded fear?

Are we ever going to get rid of these masks? I wonder. What happens when flu season comes back? Are our lying Democrat masters going to start telling we the sheeple once again, “Oh my God, wear your mask or you’re going to die!!” They now know that about 75% of the people in this country are sheep, unthinking, stupid as all hell, and easily led wherever they want to pull them by the nose. When did politicians in this country get this much power over the truth that people listen unthinkingly to them and obey uncritically anything they say? It will not be hard at all to get a program of “Contact Tracing” going in which “good citizens” rat out those who will not go along with the program. Not far behind that will be the mandatory tatoo you will carry on your person to enable you to go into a store and get the necessities of life. How far this will go before all the brave Internet warriors stop their chest pounding and threats of an armed insurrection and actually hit the barricades? Probably forever. These brave warriors, who sit at their keyboards breathing out threats of armed terror upon all who would destroy our country, will probably be sitting in a wheelchair in an old folks home years from now, muttering to themselves about AR-15’s and Glock 9’s in a delusional state while slobbering on their shoes.

Every time I see somebody in a mask, even though there are some people who may be in a high-risk category, and for whom it is understandable that they might wish to wear one, I feel disgust. We have traded our freedom and our country away on a lie that is just unbelievable to watch. I watch people driving in cars ALONE – wearing a mask! I walk people walking the street or jogging ALONE – wearing a mask! I am gobsmacked at the stupidity.

I have not worn a mask since Day One when this gigantic farce started, and I don’t intend to. At 71 years of age I’m supposedly in a high-risk category, but I’m not buying it. Not one little bit. I’ve gotten to the point in my life that anytime a politician speaks, weather right-wing or left-wing, my BS meter starts to go crazy.

I am carrying this sign with me wherever I go.

So far I have gone into ten stores since our devil of a governor, Ralph, “Baby-Killer” Northam, ** has declared that masks are now mandatory. Three places out of ten so far have stopped me to demand that I put on a mask. I flashed the sign and the issue was over. I’m waiting for someone to confront me and ask, “What medical condition?”

To which I will reply, “Allergies.”

I am hoping for the person to respond by asking, “Allergies? What allergies?”

To which I will respond, “I am allergic to lies, bullshit, and tyranical politicians.”

Okay. Crazy rant is over. Y’all have a nice day now. Go out, enjoy the sunshine, take a deep breath of some fresh air, smell some flowers, pet a dog, and don’t listen to the nitwits leading this country. Turn off those frog-face liars at CNN and MSNBC. Pray for your bishops to grow a set and if you are as angry about this as I am, ask the Lord to forgive you. Anger is not good for our souls.

You will be better off and far happier if you do this.

** Ralph Northam has defended the killing of the unborn, both up to the point of labor, and even after they are born. This man is a devil. I make no apologies for calling him that. But I do still pray for him and hope he will come to repentance some day.

  1. A mask helps. I work in construction. I use masks. Some are better than others. the issue is that the virus is in the droplets of your spit. As the saying goes, say it don’t spray it, the fact is, people do some far more than others. a mask or cloth of some sort will help blunt the spray so that walking in Walmart may be less harmful.

I use hand sanitizer and do not touch anything while shopping without using a wet chemical filled cloth. I have rarely used a mask but I generally do not cough or sneeze in public and when I do I pull my shirt up over my face so only I get the brunt of the spray.

Best thing to do during a pandemic is stay away from people and avoid contact of commonly used surfaces like door handles and gas pump handles or bank machines. And when you use them clean them and then clean your hands after and anything you touched in the in-between.

Its a pandemic not a partisan issue.

    • I hope you noticed in my post that I have no problem with those who feel they need a mask for protection, especially those in high-risk categories. The point I was trying to make was the mandating of the masks by our governor, along with his attack on the churches. There is such a thing as reasonable precaution against disease, and over the top tyranny. I take Vitamin C, Selenium, Probiotics, and Zinc as a precautionary against this virus, but I would not insist or pass a law that others do the same.

It’s about freedom, you see. That is the whole point of my post.

Thanks for reading, It’s nice to know that people read what I write, even when I am losing my mind.

      • I was supportive of a short stay at home order of 2 weeks and an extension to one month. But then by that time I expected a discussion of how we could operate during a pandemic and a different way other than a lock down. And if Walmart or a Liquor store could be open a church could as well all with heavy duty Mitigation.
Unfortunately I found when going to stores that they had no Idea about cross contamination and they wore gloves and masks to protect themselves in their minds but didn’t care that they would touch everyone’s carts or goods one after another without washing their hands.
So, If one person had it and it transferred that virus could then have been given to dozens of people as soon as they touched their goods or cart.
The other huge mistake that I blame Gov’t for was their lack of Quarantine for hospital staff in direct contact with patients with the Virus. These doctors and nurses and PSW’s and cleaning staff were allowed to go to gas stations, grocery stores and their homes possibly infected or with transfer. They did not treat it like a real pandemic with full hazmat.
After one month everyone should have been able to go to church and churches should have divided up their services to lower service attendance and doubt as to who was infected IF one had infected another, lowering the amount of contact tracing needed. In many places they could have started right away with local transmitters for parking lots so that a part of the church could go without notice but would stay in their cars. And Churches could also have been given a tutorial as to how to go online so that a portion of their at risk people could stay at home and watch live just like you can watch Trump live.

There was so little practical work done to get people back into normal life and far to much heavy handedness. That has been the case in Canada. And so finally I went back to work in spite of their orders and did more mitigation than any of them suggested.
i took my temperature, i stayed home If I felt I was sick, I washed my hands and I never touched a door in a grocery store without a wet chemical filled rag. I lived a contact free life. I rarely wore a mask but I stayed away from people. I asked grocery clerks to sanitize their hands before touching my groceries. I sanitized the key pad. I sanitized my grocery cart before and after. And I avoided going to the store often or at peek times. The same could be said for anything I did in public. Every gas station has a cleaner gas pump handle, every bank a cleaner key pad and screen and door handle after I was through… I took zinc as well and Vit D and have a puffer and took the whole thing seriously. Still we should be at church. God could use this to get a lot of us online live stream widening the audience. And our Church leadership should be moving on these things.
