CONCERNS ABOUT THE CORONA VIRUS PANIC

Dear Mr. Shaich –

I went into one of your local Panera Bread outlets to pick up some Mac N Cheese for my wife and was told that I would not be served until I put on a mask. I tried to reason with the man behind the counter, but to no avail. This is quite distressing for several reasons:

1. I find the mask uncomfortable and it gives me a hard time breathing. In addition, with my weak lungs, I have several medical concerns about covering my face and rebreathing my exhausted carbon dioxide, such as hypoxia and secondary infections. I also wonder if you are going to treat all your potential customers in this manner, such as veterans and people who have been abused who cannot cover their faces and will freak out if made to do so?

2. The World Health Organization has already issues a statement regarding masks indicating that they are ineffectual in stopping the transmission of the virus.

No Direct Evidence to Support Universal Mask Usage

SARS-CoV-2 is a beta-coronavirus with a diameter between 60 nanometers (nm) and 140 nm, or 0.06 to 0.14 microns (micrometers).2 This is about half the size of most viruses, which tend to measure between 0.02 microns to 0.3 microns.3

Virus-laden saliva or respiratory droplets expelled when talking or coughing measure between 5 and 10 microns,4 and it is these droplets that surgical masks and respirators can block.

For example, N95 masks can filter particles as small as 0.3 microns,5 so they may prevent a majority of respiratory droplets from escaping. They cannot block aerosolized viruses, however, that are in the air itself. Additionally, many N95 masks only protect the wearer, as they have exhalation ports that allow you to exhale unfiltered air.

Lab testing6 has shown 3M surgical masks can block up to 75% of particles measuring between 0.02 microns and 1 micron, while cloth masks block between 30% and 60% of respiratory particles of this size. As noted in the WHO’s guidance memo:7

“Meta-analyses in systematic literature reviews have reported that the use of N95 respirators compared with the use of medical masks is not associated with any statistically significant lower risk of the clinical respiratory illness outcomes or laboratory-confirmed influenza or viral infections …

The use of cloth masks (referred to as fabric masks in this document) as an alternative to medical masks is not considered appropriate for protection of health workers based on limited available evidence …

At present, there is no direct evidence (from studies on COVID- 19 and in healthy people in the community) on the effectiveness of universal masking of healthy people in the community to prevent infection with respiratory viruses, including COVID-19.”

3. This report in itself should be enough for intelligent people to realize that the use of a mask, especially a gaudy piece of cloth, to stop the transmission of the disease is about as effective as a chain link fence is to stop a mosquito. But there is still more to this issue which is entirely disturbing:

Doctors are coming forward to show that the use of hydroxycloroquine is highly effective in curing those sick from the disease. The media is silent on this, governors and health boards of certain states are threatening them with loss of licensure, and they have been ridiculed and in some cases, terminated from their work. Why?

The CDC has admitted to overstating deaths from the Corona virus. Within the last two weeks, they took 43,000 deaths which were reported as Corona Virus deaths and changed them to the proper mode of dying, which was either flu or pneumonia. Why? Why the lies?

In addition, several hospitals have been caught reporting things like deaths from a motorcycle accident or kidney disease as drowning. These reports are easily found by a Google search. The CDC admitted that hospitals have been paid a larger government stipend for reporting that they treated a Corona virus death than a regular death, and it appears that these hospitals, being ethically challenged, took the bait. Why?

In Florida, hundreds of Corona testing stations were caught reporting 100% infection rates, which drove up the infection figures and caused further lock downs. There is no such thing in such testing as 100% infection rate. They were lying. Why? Who told them to do this? What incentive were they given, or what threat? And why?

In fact, it became clear after a few weeks, to most intelligent people who are not sheep, that this whole pandemic is as bogus as a three-dollar bill. It is a virus, it is like the flu and from the same family as cold viruses. Yet we have seen our economy nearly destroy, our president blamed for the virus and all that has happened, and our freedoms curtailed. Why? Who is behind this dissemination of lies and what is their purpose?

Why am I so upset about this? Because such actions on the part of our government go to the heart of truth and honesty. It goes to the heart of basic freedoms – the freedom to live, to work, to own a business, to run my life as I see fit. It goes to the Constitution and its promises.

When men like you participate in this corrupted lie, I have to think that you are doing so for one of two reasons: either you are ignorant of all the information which has come out showing this “pandemic” to be bogus, or you are a willing participant. Given that you are a large, multi-national company, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if you saw closing down all the small bakeries with whom you compete as a good thing. You certainly had enough money and connections to ride this one out, didn’t you?

When I see the multitudinous lies and distortions that have accompanied this “pandemic,” along with the complete media blackout regarding proven cures for the disease, the only thing I can think of is that someone is up to no good, and is getting cooperation from a number of sources to achieve this. Your participation in this lie gives power to it and to whatever nefarious schemes are afoot. This is more than a disease.

Mark my words: I am never returning to buy your products again. And I am just one of many people who see right through this crappola for what it is and see that there is an evil purpose behind it that doesn’t care at all about the lives of the millions who were thrown out of work or had their live savings and businesses destroyed.

I doubt you will be (it seems that to become a CEO in this country, you must kill your conscience) but you should be ashamed for giving life to this evil and allowing this charade to go on for so long by your willing participation.

I will miss you, since you had good food, but lots of people make wonderful food. You are just a cog in a wheel, and I can go elsewhere. My freedom is much more important to me than a Summer Corn Chowder and a Bearclaw. Believe me on this one!
